Isle of Skye


The Isle of Skye is the largest and most northerly island of the western islands of Scotland in the Inner Hebrides.   The island is dominated by the Cuillin mountains and is now linked to mainland Scotland by a new road bridge.

The Isle of Skye is an out of doors paradise offering leisurely family walks along the spectacular coastline to challenging scrambles in the Cuillin mountains.  Famous for its spectacular rugged scenery, gaelic culture and heritage, Skye has abundant wildlife including the Golden Eagle, Red Deer and Salmon.

The Anchorage is right on the foreshore of one of the best locations on the island, overlooking a sea-loch (Loch Alsh) and the heather clad mountains of the Highlands beyond. The Isle of Skye is The place for seaside-loving, mountain-walking, wildlife-watching, peace-searching people who love wilderness beaches, gastronomic delights and a touch of the Celtic - summer or winter.
